  • 2 x 8-Ounce Salmon Steaks (freshly caught) Dill Mix-----
  • 4 Tbsp. Butter Or possibly Margarine
  • 1 tsp Dill Seed
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
  • 2 tsp Fresh Chives -- or possibly parsley
  • 1 pch Pepper

Directions

  1. To prepare the dill mix, heat the butter in a shallow pan over a low heat.
  2. Add in lemon juice and mix well. Remove from the heat and blend in the dill and chives. Allow the mix to cold.
  3. Broil the salmon steaks 6-8 min on each side turning once. Baste frequently with dill mix. Remove from the broiler and place on a platter, covering the steaks with the remaining mix. Serve with a zucchini and tomato stew, au gratin potatoes and dill rye bread. Add in a glass of wine and candle light for a real dinner for two.
  4. Serves 2.
