%20and%20they'll%20ripen%20hastily.%20You%20would%20be%20surprised%20that%20in%20our%20Malaysian%20weather,%20read%20hot%20and%20humid,%20when%20left%20with%20bananas%20and%20apples,%20the%20ripening%20process%20is%20not%20as%20quick%20we%20thought%20it%20would%20be!%20Yup,%20tried%20and%20tested%20:D%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20usually%20keep%20those%20foil%20bags%20that%20came%20with%20large%20pack%20of%20milk%20powder,%20Milo,%20instant%20coffee%20etc%20and%20use%20them%20to%20store%20fruits%20and%20vege%20which%20can%20last%20so%20much%20longer%20in%20the%20fridge.%20I%20did%20the%20same%20with%20my%20Green%20Kiwifruits%20that%20came%20rock%20hard%20from%20my%20Kiwifruits%20Fairies.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20next%20dish%20came%20up%20when%20I%20wanted%20to%20cook%20a%20quick%20lunch%20for%20BoiBoi%20and%20myself.%20I%20did%20think%20of%20a%20Minestrone%20which%20I%20think%20Green%20Kiwifruit%20could%20go%20so%20well%20in%20it%20but%20I%20do%20not%20have%20that%20many%20ingredients%20in%20my%20fridge.%20Next%20up,%20I%20had%20wanted%20to%20do%20a%20Seafood%20Marinara%20but%20BoiBoi%20doesn't%20really%20fancy%20seafood%20but%20a%20few%20prawns%20is%20ok%20o.O%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20next%20best%20bet%20was%20a%20really%20simple%20aglio%20olio,%20something%20that%20can%20be%20racked%20up%20from%20a%20basic%20larder.%20Who%20knows%20that%20Green%20Kiwifruits%20can%20go%20so%20well%20in%20a%20pasta%20dish?!!%20BoiBoi%20and%20I%20cleaned%20our%20plates%20up%20in%20a%20jiffy!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPrawn%20and%20Zespri%C2%AE%20Green%20Kiwifruit%20Aglio%20Olio%20Pasta%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E(Serves%202)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20large%20pot%20of%20boiling%20water%20with%20lots%20of%20salt,%20cook%20pasta%20till%20al%20dente%20according%20to%20package%20instruction.%20Drain%20pasta%20when%20cooked%20and%20reserve%20some%20pasta%20cooking%20water.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFry%20prawns%20in%201/2%20Tbsp%20of%20oil%20in%20a%20frying%20pan,%20on%20both%20sides%20until%20they're%20cooked.%20Remove%20to%20a%20plate%20and%20set%20aside.%20In%20the%20same%20pan,%20pour%20in%20remaining%201%201/2%20Tbsp%20oil%20and%20fry%20the%20garlic%20till%20fragrant%20BUT%20not%20brown.%20Toss%20in%20the%20red%20chillies%20and%20stir.%20Add%20in%20the%20prawns%20and%20cooked%20pasta.%20Mix%20well%20and%20Turn%20off%20the%20heat.%20Add%20in%20kiwifruits,%20salt,%20black%20pepper%20and%20parsley%20and%20toss%20evenly.%20If%20it's%20a%20little%20dry,%20add%20in%20a%20little%20of%20the%20pasta%20cooking%20water.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServe%20hot%20with%20more%20freshly%20grounded%20black%20pepper.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDay%2011.1:%20Zespri%C2%AE%20Kiwifruits%20Platter%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
