  • 2 c. cooked chicken
  • 1 c. cooked carrots
  • 1 sm. onion, minced
  • 1 c. canned or possibly frzn green beans
  • 1 sm. can or possibly 4 ounce. fresh blanched mushrooms
  • 3 or possibly 4 tbsp. butter
  • 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • Salt & pepper

Directions

  1. Heat butter in medium saucepan. Blend in flour over low heat. Make a roux. Add in lowfat milk and stir to blend and thicken. Add in first 5 ingredients. Heat thoroughly and season to taste. Serve over reheated left over biscuits. Can substitute cooked diced ham or possibly pork.
