  • 20 x Dry red chili pods, stems And seeds removed
  • 1/4 tsp Cilantro seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp Dry oregano
  • 4 cl Garlic
  • 1/4 c. Onion, coarsely minced
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 3 c. Hot water

Directions

  2. Cooking Time: 20 min Coarsely grind the cilantro and cumin seeds in a spice grinder, and then put into the bowl of the food processor. Break the chili pods into small pcs, and coarsely grind in the spice grinder, and then add in to food processor bowl. Add in the garlic and onion to the food processor, and process till the onions are minced.
  3. Add in the remaining ingredients and process till pureed. Place the mix in a 2-qt casserole dish. Cover and microwave on 70% (medium high) for twenty min, stirring after 10 min. (I assume you could make it on top of the stove, too.)
  4. Makes 3-1/2 c..
