Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. Oil or possibly other fat
  • 2 c. Uncooked brown rice
  • 2 c. Cooked, minced meat
  • 1 med Onion, minced
  • 1 can (large) tomatoes Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Heat fat in skillet; add in rice, onion, tomatoes and salt. Cover skillet and cook over low heat for 45-50 min or possibly till rice is tender. Stir in cooked meat and cook till meat is heated through.
  2. NOTE: Brown rice is raw rice that has not been polished to the white stage usually seen.
