Brides Bars Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 box cake mix
- 2 x Large eggs for chewy bars or possibly 3 Large eggs for cake bars
- 1 whl can pie filling, (21 ounce.)
- 1/2 c. Minced nuts (optional)
- 2 c. Powdered sugar
- 1 whl pkg. cream cheese, (8 ounce.) softened
- 3 Tbsp. Cocoa
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large mixing bowl, combine mix, Large eggs, pie filling and nuts. Spread this mix on a greased jellyroll pan. Bake 30 min. For Frosting: Combine ingredients in bowl and spread over cooled cake. Cut into bars.
- Yield: 12 to 15 servings. Variations: Chocolate cake mix, cherry pie filling. Spice cake mix, apple pie filling. Banana cake mix, blueberry pie filling. Strawberry cake mix, strawberry pie filling.
