Balsamic Glazed Sausage And Grapes With Polenta Recipe

  1. To prepare polenta, heat water to boil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Pour polenta into boiling water in a thin stream. Cook, stirring, till soft and thickened, about 5-8 min. Stir in cheese, butter, salt and pepper.
  2. Cover and keep hot.
  3. To prepare sausage, heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add in sausages; cook, turning, till golden, 8-10 min. Pierce each sausage a few times with a fork during cooking to prevent skin from bursting. Remove from pan and set aside.
  4. Add in chicken broth to the pan. Cook 2 min to reduce slightly. Stir in balsamic vinegar; then add in grapes. Cook 1 minute; return sausages to pan. Stir together till grapes and sausage are hot and glazed. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. To serve, place polenta on a platter. Top with sausages. Spoon grapes and juice over.
