Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless short-ribs
  • RUB
  • 2 Tablespoons Chinese Five Spice
  • ½ Tablespoon Salt
  • 2 Teaspoons Sugar
  • 2 Teaspoon Black Pepper
  • SAUCE
  • ½ Cup – Prepared Hoisin Sauce
  • ⅛ Cup – Dry Sherry
  • ⅛ Cup – Soy Sauce
  • ⅛ Cup – White Sugar
  • ⅛ Cup – Prepared Ketchup
  • 1 Tablespoon – Unseasoned Rice Vinegar
  • 2 Cloves – Fresh Garlic, minced
  • 1 Teaspoon – Dried Ginger
  • Optional Scallions and sesame seeds for garnish
  • In a small bowl combine all ingredients for the rub. Set aside
