  • 1 c. Apple jelly
  • 1 Tbsp. Prepared mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp Grnd nutmeg
  • 1 x Fully cooked ham, bone in or possibly bone out, 4-5 pounds Whole cloves Spiced apple rings, optional

Directions

  1. In small saucepan, combine jelly, mustard, lemon juice and nutmeg. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 325 degrees, F.
  3. Score the surface of the ham, making diamond shapes 1/2 inch deep. Insert a clove in each diamond.
  4. Place ham on a rack in shallow roasting pan. Bake, uncovered, for 20 min per lb., or possibly till a meat thermometer reads 140 degrees.
  5. During the last 30 min of baking, brush with glaze twice. Garnish with apple rings if you like.
  6. Makes 6-8 servings.
