Directions

  1. *NOTE: Original recipe used regular bacon
  2. Cook bacon slices in a small skillet over med heat till crisp. Remove bacon from skillet, and crumble. Add in onion to bacon drippings in skillet, and saute/fry 3 minutes. Add in carrots, cider, sugar, and pepper, and bring to a boil. Cook mix 10 minutes over med heat or possibly till carrots are tender. Don't drain.
  3. Place carrot mix in a large serving bowl. Sprinkle with the reserved bacon and chives.
  4. Yield: 8 servings
  5. NOTES : This was amazing!! Quite good, very easy and quick to combine.
