Apple Cabbage Skillet Dinner Recipe

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. Butter or possibly Margarine
- 3 x Golden brown Delicious Apples, cored and grated
- 6 c. Green Cabbage, shredded
- 1/2 c. Onion, thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp. Water
- 1 Tbsp. Cider Vinegar
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 lb cooked Sausage
- 2 tsp fresh Parsley, chopped
Directions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the butter; add in the grated apples, the cabbage, and the onion, and saute/fry for about 5 min. Stir the water, vinegar, salt, and pepper into the apple mix. Pierce the sausages with a fork and place on topof mix. Cook, covered, for about 10 min, or possibly till cabbage is just cooked and sausages are heated through. Sprinkle the parsley over the top of the hot skillet and cook, covered, for about 2 min more. Serve hot, with mustard, if you like. 4 srv.
