Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups all- purpose flour ( plus more for the pans)
- 2 cups sugar
- ¾ cup good cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup buttermilk , shake well!
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs â room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup hot coffee
- Frosting
- 6 ounces semisweet chocolate
- 2 sticks (1/2 Pound) unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 ¼ cups confectionersâ sugar
- 1 tablespoon instant coffee powder

awesome. Meredith made it a while ago (without the fancy-pants leveler) and it tasted great. Not as awesome as the Official Sweet Sadie's Chocolate Cake, but still awesome.I've cooked/tasted this recipe!
