(and mine...well, the first batch anyway..lol)
Cooking Influences
Elizabeth Taylor...lol my MOM! Elizabeth Dorcus Taylor Bullock! Yup, soon to be 89 and doing ok. Has a knack of taking simple recipes and doing little things that make big differences in the end product. She's influenced my baking since I was 9 years old. If you wanna know the whole story, email me! It's worth it! And Ardelle Decker Bullock Jensen, my dads mom...she was the origional Bread Machine...every visit, first thing she did was bake 4-6 loaves of white bread and then deep fry fresh "pull cakes". Then, if I had been a "good boy" she made us some cake doughnuts, and they were to die for! She did all the cookin' on "the ranch" for Grandpa, Dad, his two brothers, and any hired hands or haying crews...on a wood burning stove, in Lone Tree, WY... and Jacques Pipin, he's just the best. He and Julia Child are just a "kick" in the ole oven! And "Joy of Cooking" my go to cookbook....
