About me

My husband and I owned two restaurants and since he has passed I have retired from the business. I am raising two granddaughters. I cook now just part-time at a golf course. I am enjoying my retirement because I can do what I want, when I want, and how I want.

Cooking Influences

Food magazines have been a great inspiration in my recipes for our restaurant. Rural cookbooks, have also helped. I watched The Food Network channel all the time trying to get some simple ideas to be served in our family oriented restaurant. We needed to serve good food at a good price and still look elegant.
