Hi Heidi! I did post on your blog a few months ago and check in once every couple weeks to see if you have posted any new recipes. I tried your favorite white cake recipe and that's what I commented about a few months ago about....and it was wonderful by the way! I was recently looking through for your blog to see if you had any recipes for marble cake? My daughter wants a marble cake for her birthday next week and I want to make something similar to that white cake recipe that I used previously (that was scrumptious!). I'm guessing I could subsitute a marble cake box mix for a white cake mix? Would that work? Thanks for any info you could send me! Brenda

I'm Heidi from heidibakes. Just recently I put my blog "on hold". I just feel like I'm not putting enough effort into keeping it up. I HAVE been baking frequently but have made no effort to post anything. I might update it later and start posting again but for now I am just going to take a break from it. I suppose I could still just keep my blog available for reading? I felt kind of weird doing that if I'm not actually posting anything new but maybe that doesn't matter.

Do you have a baking blog? What part of the country do you live in? I love meeting new friends who are into baking!
