  • 1 1/2 lbs. Hillshire Farm smoked sausage Or possibly Polska Kielbasa, any variety, sliced into bite-size pcs
  • 3 tbs. oil
  • 1 1/2 c. raw rice
  • 3/4 c. fresh Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 3 1/4 c. fresh or possibly frzn minced vegetables - broccoli, onions, carrots & mushrooms
  • Season with salt, pepper, garlic & oregano

Directions

  1. Cook rice and keep hot. Saute/fry vegetables in oil till crisp and tender. Add in sausage and season to taste. Heat thoroughly. Fold in 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese and serve immediately over hot rice, sprinkling with remaining Parmesan cheese. Serves 6.
