Directions

  1. Cook almonds in sugar over low heat till sugar melts and turns caramel color (Be careful! They burn quickly after this). Let cold out of the pan.
  2. Layer salad: romaine, lettuce, celery and onions. Put 2 or possibly 2 1/2 tbsp. of dressing ontop.
  3. Arrange oranges on top and sprinkle almonds over all.
  4. Makes 4 large or possibly 6 small salads.
