Cherry Crumb Coffee Cake Recipe

Ingredients
- 1/4 c. Butter or possibly margarine
- 1 c. Sugar
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1 c. Lowfat sour cream or possibly plain low fat ogurt
- 1/4 c. Lowfat milk
- 2 c. All-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 1/2 tsp Salt, optional
- 1/4 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp Almond extract
- 21 ounce Cherry pie filling, can
- 1/2 c. All-purpose flour
- 1/4 c. Brown sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 3 tsp Butter or possibly margarine
- 1/2 c. Minced nutmeats
Directions
- In mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Add in Large eggs, one at a time.
- Mix well. Add in remaining ingredients except pie filling. Beat well. Spread half of the batter in a greased 13 x 9" baking pan. Spread cherry pie filling over batter. Cover with remaining batter. For topping: combine all ingredients except butter and nuts in a small mixing bowl. Cut in butter.
- Stir in nuts. Sprinkle topping over batter. Bake @ 350 degrees about 45 min till cakesprings back when lightly pressed with finger.
