Carrot Cake Made With Baby Food Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 c. canola [or possibly other] oil
- 2 x (4 oz) jars carrot baby food
- 3 x Large eggs
- 2 c. white granulated sugar
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 tsp baking pwdr (check date for freshness)
- 1/4 tsp table salt
- 1 tsp grnd nutmeg
- 1 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp grnd allspice (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan. In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking pwdr, salt, nutmeg,cinnamon and allspice (optional). Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine oil and baby food, then add in Large eggs. Add in sugar and mix well. Add in the flour mix and mix till well combined.
- Pour batter into prepared 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) for 1 hour, or possibly till toothpick inserted into the middle of the cake comes out clean.
- Cold for 10 min in the pan, then turn out onto a wire rack.
