Luncheon Pasta SaladA refreshing light pasta salad for a main dish luncheon or summer potluck. I like small or medium shell pasta, but elbow, ditalini or bow tie pastas are good choices too. |

Ham, Peas & Pasta SaladA nice choice for a summer cookout or picnic, this pasta salad can be made up to a day ahead for convenience. My pasta choice for this is ditalini, a small pasta often used in soups (this can be hard to locate but Barilla sells a one pound box.) Or substitute your own small pasta FAV such as elbows or shells. |

Penne Alfredo with Italian Sausage and ZucchiniI had this dish at a local diner and loved it. So I recreated it at home it's an easy tasty dish. It looks like you spent a lot of time making it and it comes together so easily. In this picture I used just zucchini but I have made it with summer squash or a mix of both, whatever I have on hand, and it's great. |

Make-over Spaghetti & Shrimp SaladOriginally mayo was the dressing for this salad recipe from a friend long ago, but I decided to give it a make-over. Adding a few new veggies and seasonings, and subbing an oil-based dressing, made it lighter and brighter. The recipe makes enough for a crowd or potluck, so cut down by one third or two thirds if needed. |

Linguine with Fresh TomatoesSince we can have great tomatoes year around, we can always enjoy their fresh flavor this way. Remember: Never store your fresh tomatoes in the refrigerator, the cold ruins their taste and texture. Keep them right on the counter so they'll be sweeter and juicier. |

BLT Macaroni SaladThis is a summer staple in my house because it's nice to serve on hot and humid days. Make sure to cook the pasta al dente because it will absorb half the dressing as it rests in the refrigerator. |
