Directions

  1. To roast onions, cook whole onions in microwave 3 to 4 minutes., till soft.
  2. Peel and slice. Combine all ingredients in large saucepan. Chop tomatoes coarsely. Simmer 30 minutes.
  3. Makes 4 c., sufficient for two large pizzas.
  4. We often make pizzas with a loaf of French bread sliced lengthwise. Top with sauce, mushrooms, peppers, broccoli (nuke peppers and broccoli a bit first), and non-fat cheese. Quite yummy.
