Orange Pound Cake With Orange Glaze Recipe

Orange Pound Cake is a childhood favorite of mine...a very old fashioned pound cake with all the goodness of fresh orange....drizzled with orange glaze.. is one of the best cake that my amma bakes. The cake is dense and so very citrusy, the natural orange flavor makes it very special.

When amma was visiting me, she made this cake to surprise me when I dozed off in the afternoon after having a lavish lunch prepared by her, and woke up to the aroma of freshly baked cake .... I saw her smiling with my favorite cake baked...and I mentally decided to walk an extra mile the next day...but then my kids were smarter!! they just buttered amma and claimed authority over it!! Kids and grandmoms are always a team...and I have to keep reminding…
