%20He%20continues..%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%E2%80%99s%20the%20right%20ingredients%20but%20in%20the%20wrong%20order!!!%20In%20a%20proper%20sandwich%20the%20cheese%20is%20adjacent%20to%20the%20bread%20to%20create%20a%20moisture%20barrier%20against%20the%20lettuce.%20They%20might%20as%20well%20have%20dragged%20this%20thing%20through%20a%20car%20wash.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20was%20never%20into%20these%20sitcoms%20in%20my%20youth.%20During%20my%20college%20days,%20%22Joey%22%20was%20%22The%20heartthrob%22.%20Every%20girl%20was%20ogling%20him%20and%20whoever%20I%20talk%20to%20had%20something%20or%20the%20other%20to%20ramble%20about%20F.R.I.E.N.D.S.%20When%20all%20my%20friends%20were%20rolling%20on%20the%20floor%20with%20laughter,%20I,%20could%20never%20grasp%20the%20wit%20and%20humour!%20Often%20I%20would%20turn%20and%20ask%20%22What%20is%20funny%20about%20this%20/%20that%20?%20I%20got%20tired%20and%20stopped%20watching%20it%20completely.%20I%20could%20never%20understand%20their%20psyched%20reaction%20apart%20from%20the%20eyeing%20of%20good%20looking%20characters!!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBut%20now,%20I%20have%20to%20confess,%20%20I%20have%20quite%20a%20few%20addictions%20of%20my%20own.%20After%20few%20years%20of%20being%20outside%20my%20home%20country,%20understanding%20people,%20their%20culture,%20their%20slang%20(Esp%20here%20in%20The%20States)%20I%20have%20finally%20got%20the%20hang%20of%20most%20of%20it.%20Or%20may%20be%20I%20have%20just%20grown%20up%20as%20my%20friends%20tease.%20I%20am%20able%20to%20co-relate,%20understand%20the%20subtexts%20and%20the%20humour.%20I%20am%20enjoying%20it%20thoroughly.%20One%20such%20show%20is%20the%20above%20mentioned%20Big%20Bang%20Theory.%20And,%20Sheldon%20is%20my%20sweetheart!%20After%20watching%20the%20above%20quoted%20scene,%20I%20am%20always%20reminded%20of%20him%20whenever%20I%20have%20a%20sandwich.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EToday's%20post,%20a%20club%20sandwich%20usually%20consists%20of%20toasted%20bread,%20poultry,%20bacon,%20lettuce,%20tomato%20and%20Mayonnaise.%20Its%20origin%20is%20still%20debatable%20and%20the%20earliest%20reference%20is%20to%20that%20of%20the%20chef%20in%20Union%20Club%20of%20City%20Of%20New%20York.%20This%20recipe%20has%20been%20adapted%20over%20the%20years%20and%20now%20there%20are%20so%20many%20variations%20to%20it.%20But%20in%20today's%20recipe%20I%20have%20tweaked%20it%20to%20suit%20a%20Indian%20Veg%20palate.%20I%20added%20paneer%20in%20place%20of%20the%20Turkey%20(chicken%20is%20replaced%20by%20turkey%20nowadays)%20and%20added%20a%20green%20chutney%20to%20complement%20its%20falvour.%20The%20rest%20of%20the%20ingredients%20are%20as%20such.%20I%20have%20not%20mentioned%20the%20quantity%20as%20it%20is%20really%20up%20to%20each%20one's%20preference.%20Omit%20or%20add%20any%20ingredient%20you%20dislike%20/%20like.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESheldon,%20hope%20I%20have%20the%20ingredients%20in%20the%20right%20order!!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIndian%20Fusion%20Club%20Sandwich%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAmerican%20club%20sandwich%20with%20an%20Indian%20twist!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPrep%20Time:%2010%20Mins%20%7C%20Cook%20Time:%20NIL%20%7C%20Total%20Time:%20%2010%20Mins%20%20%7C%20Serves:%20%204%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EInstructions%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EToast%20the%20bread%20slices.%20Slicing%20the%20edges%20is%20optional.%20Mix%20in%20the%20paneer%20filling.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESpread%20Mayo%20on%20one%20side%20(inside)%20of%20two%20slices.%20On%20the%20other%20slice,%20spread%20green%20chutney%20on%20both%20sides.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThen%20layer%20the%20paneer%20filling,%20cucumbers,%20tomatoes,%20Pickles%20and%20lettuce.%20Place%20the%20green%20chutney%20smeared%20slice%20and%20on%20top%20of%20it%20fill%20the%20same%20as%20done%20previously.%20Close%20it%20with%20mayo%20side%20down%20and%20insert%20a%20toothpick.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHold%20it%20firm%20and%20slice%20the%20sandwich%20diagonally.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServe%20it%20with%20any%20ketchup%20of%20your%20choice.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENotes%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIf%20you%20don't%20have%20a%20pickle,%20add%20the%20lime%20juice.%20The%20tanginess%20highlights%20the%20dish.%20Hot%20sauce%20and%20Ketch%20up%20can%20be%20used%20on%20the%20side.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20post%20is%20for%20Blogging%20Marathon%2050%20under%20the%20theme%20%22American%20Sandwiches%22.%20Check%20out%20the%20Blogging%20Marathon%20page%20for%20the%20other%20Blogging%20Marathoners%20doing%20BM%23%2050%20here.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
