Directions

  1. Ask your butcher to mince the beef and pork together twice.
  2. Mix the meats with all the remaining ingredients except lowfat milk butter and oil.
  3. Add in sufficient lowfat milk to give a soft but cohesive mix.
  4. Using a Tbsp. dipped into the melted butter shape into small pointed rugby balls.
  5. Fry in the remaining butter heated with the oil till browned and cooked through.
  6. Serve warm with boiled potatoes or possibly a potato salad or possibly cool sliced on a piece of rye bread with pickled cucumber lettuce and a dab of mayonnaise.
  7. More bread softened meatballs this time from Denmark. They are usually made from a mix of beef and pork and flavoured with allspice.
