%20%20But%20how%20can%20I%20compare%20to%20what%20Kristina,%20from%20Spabettie,%20has%20brought%20for%20us%20today??%20%20Not%20only%20is%20her%20recipe%20dairy%20free%20(so%20my%20whole%20family%20can%20enjoy),%20but%20how%20Halloween%20festive%20are%20these%20guys??%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELiv%20has%20already%20been%20asking%20me%20to%20head%20down%20to%20the%20local%20craft%20shop%20so%20we%20can%20make%20our%20own%20skulls%20to%20much%20on.%20%20But%20her%20list%20didn't%20stop%20there%E2%80%A6%20she%20looking%20at%20Christmas%20trees,%20hearts%20and%20even%20bunny%20molds.%20%20Looks%20like%20we%20are%20going%20to%20be%20festive%20for%20holidays%20to%20come!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EKristina,%20thank%20you%20for%20helping%20me%20keep%20my%20promise%20and%20for%20bring%20a%20bit%20of%20spookiness%20to%20Liv%20Life.%20%20Liv%20says%20you%20are%20more%20festive%20than%20I%20am,%20and%20she's%20hoping%20it%20will%20rub%20off%20on%20me!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20now%20I%20give%20you%20Kristiana:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHalloween%20is%20one%20of%20my%20favorite%20times%20of%20year%20-%20not%20only%20for%20the%20costumes%20(dachshunds%20included),%20but%20also%20for%20creating%20some%20Halloween%20fun%20in%20the%20kitchen.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20make%20truffles%20year%20round%20-%20they're%20actually%20one%20of%20my%20favorite%20things%20to%20make%20-%20so%20of%20course%20I%20had%20to%20come%20up%20with%20something%20for%20Halloween.%20While%20there%20are%20several%20steps%20and%20some%20waiting%20time%20involved%20in%20the%20truffle%20making%20process,%20these%20really%20are%20very%20easy.%20I%20promise.%20I%20mean,%20look%20at%20the%20ingredient%20list%20-%20two%20ingredients%20total.%20for%20the%20whole%20recipe.%20and%20these%20are%20filled%20truffles.%20yum.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStop%20by%20your%20local%20craft%20store%20-%20the%20candy%20making%20section%20has%20way%20too%20many%20candy%20molds%20to%20choose%20from%20-%20and%20pick%20up%20some%20coconut%20milk%20and%20dark%20chocolate,%20and%20you%20will%20be%20on%20your%20way%20to%20some%20impressive%20treats%20of%20your%20own.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E*%20%20Without%20shaking,%20open%20a%20can%20of%20coconut%20milk,%20spoon%20out%201/2%20cup%20of%20the%20thick%20portion%20at%20top%20of%20can%20for%20this%20recipe.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EINSTRUCTIONS:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EChop%204%20ounces%20chocolate.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20saucepan,%20bring%20coconut%20milk%20to%20a%20boil,%20reduce%20to%20simmer%20and%20stir%20continually%20for%20several%20minutes.%20Remove%20from%20heat,%20add%20chopped%20chocolate,%20whisk%20until%20smooth.%20Allow%20to%20cool.%20Cover%20and%20transfer%20to%20refrigerator%20to%20thicken%20(1%20hour).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EChop%20remaining%204%20ounces%20chocolate,%20and%20melt%20over%20lowest%20heat%20possible,%20stirring%20constantly%20and%20rapidly.%20Spoon%20a%20small%20amount%20into%20each%20mold,%20and%20using%20a%20small%20paintbrush,%20coat%20the%20mold%20completely.%20Place%20in%20refrigerator%20until%20set.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOnce%20chocolate%20in%20molds%20is%20set,%20fill%20each%20mold%20with%20ganache%20filling,%20leaving%20room%20at%20the%20top%20to%20seal%20with%20more%20chocolate.%20Reheat%20remaining%20chocolate%20and%20fill%20each%20mold,%20covering%20the%20filling%20completely.%20Tap%20molds%20on%20counter%20to%20remove%20any%20bubbles,%20return%20to%20refrigerator%20to%20set.%20See%20step%20by%20step%20photos%20of%20this%20process%20here.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMore%20Halloween%20fun!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHappy%20Halloween!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EKristina%20is%20better%20known%20online%20as%20spabettie%20-%20where%20she%20shares%20vibrant%20plant%20based%20recipes%20and%20stories%20of%20her%20two%20dachshunds,%20Basil%20and%20Rosemary.%20Find%20her%20on%20twitter,%20facebook,%20Google,%20instagram%20and%20pinterest,%20as%20well%20as%20at%20spabettie.com%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
