Cheesy Sweet-Hot Beer Bread Recipe

.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20is%20a%20little%20ironic%20that%20what%20brought%20me%20to%20make%20this%20bread%20was%20The%20Secret%20Recipe%20Club%20and%20Krista%20of%20Meet%20the%20Swans.%20%20I've%20read%20Krista's%20blog%20for%20quite%20a%20while%20now.%20%20I%20remember%20how%20precious%20her%20love%20story%20was%20and%20I%20even%20commented%20on%20her%20about%20me%20section%20way%20back%20when.%20%20Krista%20is%20a%20sweet%20little%20thing%20who%20grew%20up%20on%20a%20farm%20(almost%20ditto%20here...my%20dad%20went%20into%20farming%20after%20I%20was%20in%20HS).%20%20I%20love%20her%20enthusiasm%20and%20her%20love%20of%20baking....even%20if%20most%20of%20it%20is%20chocolate.%20%20;o)%20%20I%20thought%20about%20baking%20a%20treat%20as%20she%20has%20mostly%20baked%20goodies%20on%20her%20blog,%20but%20I%20haven't%20been%20making%20much%20sweets%20to%20have%20around%20us%20for%20a%20while%20now%20and%20I%20was%20feeling%20like%20something%20savory.%20%20I%20searched%20and%20searched%20and%20in%20the%20midst%20of%20all%20her%20chocolate%20I%20found%20this%20Beer%20Bread.%20%20Bingo.%20%20I%20thought%20to%20myself%20that%20I%20really%20should%20try%20it%20out.%20%20After%20all,%20I%20was%20early%20in%20the%20challenge%20and%20if%20I%20messed%20it%20up%20I%20would%20make%20the%20Almond%20Crescents%20(which%20I%20happen%20to%20LOVE%20-%20but%20have%20never%20made%20myself).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESuch%20a%20simple%20recipe%20and%20as%20soon%20as%20I%20read%20the%20ingredients%20and%20saw%20it%20called%20for%20some%20sugar,%20I%20knew%20I%20was%20going%20to%20put%20some%20kind%20of%20heat%20in%20it.%20%20I%20went%20searching%20through%20my%20cupboards%20for%20some%20pickled%20jalapeno's%20thinking%20for%20certain%20I%20had%20to%20have%20some,%20after%20all,%20I'm%20a%20hot%20pepper%20fanatic.%20%20No%20such%20luck,%20but%20I%20did%20find%20something%20even%20better.%20%20I%20found%20some%20pickled%20hot%20peppers%20that%20my%20dad%20had%20given%20me%20from%20their%20canning%20shelves%20the%20last%20time%20I%20was%20home.%20%20I%20couldn't%20wait%20to%20try%20this%20recipe%20out!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhile%20I%20was%20going%20to%20make%20the%20bread,%20I%20also%20didn't%20want%20to%20take%20the%20chance%20that%20I%20would%20have%20a%20full%20loaf%20of%20bread%20and%20neither%20Grumpy%20nor%20I%20would%20want%20to%20eat%20it.%20%20So,%20I%20decided%20to%20make%20half%20the%20recipe%20and%20make%20mini%20loaves.%20%20Well,%20I%20won't%20have%20to%20half%20the%20recipe%20next%20time%20for%20certain!%20%20I%20could%20have%20eaten%20a%20whole%20mini%20loaf%20by%20myself%20that%20afternoon.%20%20I%20stopped%20myself%20at%20half%20a%20loaf%20though%20and%20then%20decided%20that%20I%20would%20have%20more%20when%20we%20ate%20dinner.%20%20;o)%20%20Yes,%20it%20was%20that%20good.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20took%20some%20sneak%20peeks%20while%20the%20bread%20was%20in%20the%20oven%20because%20I%20was%20really%20curious%20as%20to%20how%20it%20would%20rise.%20%20It%20was%20more%20like%20a%20batter%20bread%20and%20I%20also%20was%20curious%20about%20how%20the%20top%20of%20the%20bread%20would%20look.%20%20I%20was%20far%20from%20disappointed.%20%20I%20was%20strongly%20reminded%20of%20Red%20Lobster's%20cheese%20biscuits.%20%20So%20much%20so%20that%20I%20melted%20some%20Best%20Life%20butter%20and%20stirred%20in%20some%20garlic%20powder%20to%20brush%20over%20the%20top%20of%20the%20loaves.%20%20Oh,%20sweet,%20heavenly%20YUM!%20%20I%20sinfully%20even%20spread%20some%20more%20of%20that%20garlic%20butter%20on%20my%20individual%20slices,%20not%20that%20it%20needed%20it.%20%20I%20just%20wanted%20to%20be%20bad.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECheesy%20Sweet-Hot%20Beer%20Bread%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eadapted%20from%20Krista's%20recipe%20at%20Meet%20the%20Swans%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMakes%202%20mini%20loaves%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20350.%20%20Prep%20bread%20pans%20by%20spraying%20with%20non%20stick%20cooking%20spray.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhisk%20flour%20and%20baking%20powder%20together.%20%20Add%20shredded%20cheese%20and%20pepper%20pieces%20and%20toss%20to%20coat.%20%20Pour%20in%20beer%20and%20stir%20until%20combined.%20%20The%20batter%20will%20be%20thick%20and%20kind%20of%20biscuit-y%20like.%20%20I%20put%20my%20batter%20right%20to%20the%20top%20of%20the%20pan%20and%20I%20used%20two%20mini%20loaf%20pans.%20%20Bake%20at%20350%20for%2050-60%20minutes.%20%20Mine%20baked%20just%20a%20little%20less%20than%2050%20minutes.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
