%20It%20also%20just%20seemed%20to%20be%20the%20European%20thing%20to%20do,%20right?%20To%20sip%20a%20cup%20of%20strong%20espresso%20alongside%20my%20breakfast%20of%20hard%20boiled%20eggs%20and%20cheese.%20And%20I%E2%80%99m%20nothing%20if%20not%20tr%C3%A8s%20European%20(just%20ask%20the%20waiter%20who%20tried%20his%20hardest%20not%20to%20laugh%20at%20my%20French-with-a-Southern-accent.)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnyhow,%20I%E2%80%99m%20hooked%20now.%20But%20I%E2%80%99m%20also%20clueless.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhen%20I%20got%20home,%20I%20started%20going%20to%20Starbucks%20like%20it%20was%20going%20out%20of%20style.%20At%20one%20point,%20I%20was%20buying%20a%20coffee%20every%20single%20day,%20which%20is%20the%20equivalent%20of%20kicking%20your%20wallet%20in%20the%20face%20repeatedly.%20Then%20I%20found%20a%20small%20local%20coffee%20shop%20whose%20coffee%20kicks%20Starbucks%E2%80%99%20coffee%20in%20the%20face,%20but%20whose%20prices%20kicked%20my%20wallet%20in%20the%20groin%20area.%20My%20wallet%20is%20male,%20I%20guess.%20I%20went%20there%20a%20few%20times%20but%20couldn%E2%80%99t%20justify%20it%20regularly.%20Then%20I%20started%20just%20going%20without%20coffee%20a%20few%20days%20a%20week,%20which%20kicks%20me%20in%20the%20face.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20basically%20there%E2%80%99s%20a%20lot%20of%20kicking%20going%20on.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERecently%20I%20decided%20to%20try%20the%20Keurig%20at%20my%20work,%20so%20I%20bought%20one%20of%20those%20little%20eco-friendly%20K-Cup%20things.%20I%20put%20some%20Dunkin%E2%80%99%20Donuts%20ground%20coffee%20in%20it,%20pushed%20the%20button,%20and%20hoped%20for%20the%20best.%20Annnd%20.%20.%20.%20it%20tasted%20like%20dishwater.%20I%20dressed%20it%20up%20with%20creamer%20to%20try%20and%20fix%20it,%20and%20then%20it%20tasted%20like%20French%20vanilla%20dishwater.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20morning%20my%20mother-in-law%20made%20me%20coffee%20in%20her%20Keurig-type-thing%20with%20a%20legit%20K-Cup%20and%20it%20was%20great!%20So%20was%20it%20the%20coffee%20I%20used?%20My%20school%E2%80%99s%20well%20water?%20The%20little%20eco-friendly%20holder?%20WHAT%20DID%20I%20DO%20WRONG,%20YOU%20GUYS?%20What%20do%20you%20use%20to%20make%20coffee%20at%20home?%20And%20where%20do%20you%20go%20to%20buy%20coffee%20when%20you%20want%20someone%20else%20to%20do%20the%20brewing?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20how%20do%20you%20dress%20up%20your%20coffee?%20Have%20you%20tried%20bulletproof%20coffee?%20Does%20it%20live%20up%20to%20the%20fuss?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETell%20me%20all%20your%20coffee%20tips%20and%20tricks,%20wise%20readers!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20then%20let%E2%80%99s%20pour%20a%20cup,%20%E2%80%99cause%20you%E2%80%99re%20gonna%20need%20one%20to%20go%20with%20this%20giant%20cake.%20If%20you%20remember,%20I%20hardly%20ever%20make%20chocolate%20desserts%20because%20they%E2%80%99re%20just%20not%20my%20favorite.%20But%20they%20are%20Mike%E2%80%99s%20favorite.%20So%20what%20I%E2%80%99m%20saying%20is%20that%20I%E2%80%99m%20a%20bad%20wife.%20And%20also%20that%20for%20Valentine%E2%80%99s%20Day,%20I%20decided%20to%20make%20him%20allllll%20the%20chocolate%20desserts%20rolled%20into%20one.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20cake%20is%20a%20chocolate%20lover%E2%80%99s%20DREAM%20and%20still%20manages%20to%20not%20be%20too%20sweet.%20It%20is%20incredibly%20rich,%20however%20%E2%80%94%20hence%20said%20cup%20of%20coffee.%20Or%20a%20tall%20glass%20of%20milk.%20And%20a%20nap%20afterward.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETo%20make%20it%20the%20very%20best%20Valentine%20ever,%20I%20bought%20the%20best%20ingredients:%20the%20expensive%20chocolate,%20my%20favorite%20triple%20chocolate%20brownie%20mix,%20and%20the%20best%20Plugr%C3%A1%20European%20butter%20to%20send%20it%20right%20over%20the%20top.%20It%E2%80%99s%20a%20brownie%20cake%20modeled%20on%20the%20famous%20Brooklyn%20Blackout%20Cake%20with%20chocolate%20pudding%20between%20each%20layer.%20Then%20I%20added%20a%20layer%20of%20French%20Silk%20mousse%20and%20topped%20the%20whole%20shebang%20with%20barely%20sweetened%20whipped%20cream.%20It%E2%80%99s%20easy%20to%20make%20(I%20promise!)%20and%20tastes%20best%20after%20sitting%20for%20a%20day%20in%20the%20fridge,%20so%20you%20can%20whip%20it%20up%20in%20advance.%20If%20you%20have%20a%20chocolate%20lover%20in%20your%20life,%20this%20recipe%20is%20your%20new%20best%20friend!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFive%20years%20ago:%20Clementine%20Burst%20Cupcakes%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
