herb seeds

i've gotten acorus calamus americanus,butterfly weed,anise hyssop, and cinnamon..
i've got the idea location for the calamus.but i need to improve on that area first.but im wondering if anyone has any good ideas/suggestions on where to plant the others,and keeping them properly maintained.
