Walnut Blondies Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 stick salted butter, at room temperature
- 2/3 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup chopped toasted walnuts
Directions
- Heat the oven to 350 F
- Line and grease 9 inch square baking pan
- In a bowl, combine the flour and baking powder
- Set aside
- In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat the next five ingredients for 2 minutes on medium speed or until light and fluffy
- Reduce the speed to low
- Add the flour mixture and the walnuts
- Beat for 30 seconds
- Pour into the prepared pan
- Bake for 25 minutes or until the center is just set
- Allow to cool completely
- Cut into squares
