Our daughter baked helped make these and took them to her 2nd grade classroom's Apple Harvest celebration. Everyone brought a dish made with apples, and this was one of the biggest hits. They are amazingly moist and yummy. Give them a try this Fall!
    I've cooked/tasted this recipe!

These sound so autumn like! Mmmmm! They sound like they would be soft & cake-like to me. Especially since they have apples in them & brown sugar - both of those ingredients keep baked goods on the softer side. I will have to try making these. I think I would try drizzling a brown sugar glaze over the top. That would be delicious I'm sure!

      Thanks for the recipe.

Are these soft & chewy or crisp-I don't care for real cakey ones but would like to try these if you could give me info of the texture. Thanks so much

            Hi !
They are soft and chewy. As for real cakey, to me I would say no but then again, I am not sure if they would be really cakey in your eyes. They are soft and chewy however. Jeannie
