  • 1/2 c. Boiling water
  • 2 tsp Grated lemon rind, up to 3
  • 1 1/2 c. Fresh lemon juice
  • 5 c. Cool water Lemon slices Fresh mint sprigs

Directions

  1. Combine sugar and boiling water, stirring till sugar dissolves. Add in lemon rind, lemon juice, and cool water; mix well. Chill.
  2. Serve over ice. Garnish with lemon slices and mint sprigs.
  3. Yield: 2 qts.
  4. Fresh Limeade: Substitute equal amounts of lime rind and juice for which of lemons.
