Directions

  1. Sift together flour, baking pwdr, and baking soda; set aside. Cream together butter and sugar in bowl till light and fluffy. Add in egg; beat well. Blend in vanilla.
  2. Add in dry ingredients alternately with lowfat milk, beating well after each addition. Stir in walnuts. Drop mix by teaspoonfuls, about 2 inches apart. On greased baking sheets, flatten each with back of floured spoon. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 min. Remove from baking sheet. Cold on racks. Makes 2 dozen.
