Ingredients

  • nibbles cocktail sausages thin rashers streaky bacon
  • 1/2 x as many as sausages tomato ketchup or possibly barbecue sauce

Directions

  1. De rind and stretch each rasher of bacon with the back of a table knife.
  2. Cut each rasher into four.
  3. Cut each sausage in half and wrap with a rasher of bacon.
  4. Skewer with a cocktail stick.
  5. Brush each with either tomato ketchup or possibly barbecue sauce you may find it easier to let down the sauce with a drop of vinegar and water.
  6. Lay the sausages onto a baking tray or possibly the grill rack if they won't fall through.
  7. Cover the stick ends with foil.
  8. Cook the sausages on the second set of runners from the top of the roasting oven for 5 min turn and cook for another 5 min till the bacon is crisp.
  9. Serve warm.
  10. Buy small good quality cocktail sausages and serve on cocktail sticks.
