- Chop onion finely and mix with grnd beef in a large bowl. Season with chili pwdr and salt (I also add in some minced up garlic - I love the stuff, so I add in 4-5 finely minced cloves). Add in the flour and mix into the meat with your hands. Gradually stir in sufficient water to make it stick together. Knead well on a floured surface for 3-4 min. Take egg sized pcs of dough and shape into balls. Roll these out thinly, using flour as needed. Heat about 1/4 inch of oil in a small frying pan and fry the breads oine by one till lightly browned on both sides. Drain each on paper towels while cooking the others.
