About me
I enjoy all of the details of life in Salt Lake. Every time I glance up at the mountains I am thankful to live in such a beautiful place. From the spectacular fall colors and falling leaves, to the flaky sweet pastries at the bakery by my house. I write about my experiences around town: eating, hiking, and exploring the Salt Lake at The Vintage Mixer. I'm married to a local musician, Josh Rosenthal, who always keeps me on my toes and inspires me with his thoughtful song writing. On my blog, I write about the old fashioned style of enjoying food through good recipes, dining out, and dinner parties. There's power in developing friendships over a shared meal! While I'm not in Salt Lake, I'm traveling with my husband around the U.S. as he plays concerts and I get to explore new cities, culture, and local food. But nothing feels better than comming back home to the mountains.
Cooking Influences
I have many cooking influences, from my college mentor, who had her own herb garden, to my fellow foodie bloggers online. I am always inspired by the creative outlet that cooking allows for people around the world.
