Lemon Drop Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 c. Shortening
- 2 c. Sugar
- 1/4 c. Lemon juice
- 1/2 c. Water
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Cream of tartar
- 3 c. Flour
Directions
- Beat shortening for 30 seconds. Add in sugar & continue to beat until light & fluffy. Combine lemon juice & water. Combine the dry ingredients.
- Alternately mix the dry & wet ingredients with the beaten mix. Mix well. Drop by spoonful onto a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 8 to 10 min at 450F.
- Makes about 60 to 70.
