A delicious quick and easy dip to bring to parties

  • 1 8 oz. Container whipped cream cheese
  • 1 10 oz regular hummus
  • 1/2 hot house cucumber finely diced
  • 1/3 green pepper finely diced
  • 1/3 red pepper finely diced
  • 1/2 small red onion finely diced
  • 10-15 cherry tomatoes quartered or 1 tomato diced
  • 1/4 - 1/3 c kalamata olives halved or quartered
  • 1/4 c greek sliced sandwich peppers ( add a little chop to them)
  • 6 oz. Crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4-1/3 c Marie's Greek vinergarette dressing

Directions

1.
First dice all of the vegetables and add them to a mixing bowl seasoned with a little salt and pepper. To that add the olives, Greek peppers and Greek dressing . Mix well and set aside. Next in a 12" round dish spread a layer of cream cheese evenly across the bottom of the dish , next top the cream cheese layer evenly with the hummus . Spread the marinated vegetable mixture across the top of the hummus and then sprinkle the veggie mixture with the feta cheese . Use pita chips or carrot chis,as your dippers

      I love Greek salad too! This dip is always a super hit at parties and the hostess always ask if its ok to keep the rest of the dip if theres any left so they can have it for lunch the next day.

        Hi Therese:
        I like the sound of this. We like Greek food and this sounds like great flavor profiles. I am not familiar with Marie's Greek dressing so I will probably make my own using lemon juice, olive oil, greek seasoning, preserved lemons and oregano. I have most ingredients on hand but am missing two. I will defenitely try this. Thanks for sharing!

          Hi Bob,
          Usually I make my own dressing as well was running late on time so I picked up a bottle quick and easy. I love the idea of preserved lemons in the dressing sounds great. When making my dressing I like to add feta to it along with a couple of kalamata olives and then mix it up in the blender .
