Pumpkin Cheesecake by Robyn SavoieExtraordinary cheesecake? The Brandy make this recipe so much better. I only use fresh pumpkin in my recipes. In the Fall I purchase several pie (small) pumpkins. All I do is clean, peel and cube then steam them until cooked through. Once cooled, I freeze them in 1 & 2 cup amounts. This way I always have fresh on hand. |

The first batch I made convinced me the recipe was the one from my early baking years. Ah - answered prayers! |

Williams Sonoma Triple Chocolate Brownies by Nancy MiyasakiThis is a very popular recipe that I simplified a bit without losing any of it's goodness. You can serve these when you feel like a dark chocolate cake but don't have time to hassle with it. They make a wonderful end to any meal! They are super chocolaty, so they go really well with a scoop of vanilla or coffee ice cream! |

Pear Pie by Jasmine DonnellThis is a great pie that is comparable to an apple pie, but it doesn't seem as sweet. The pears and cinnamon work wonderful together.
