Grandma's Moist Bread Turkey Stuffing

Ingredients

  • ! cup butter
  • 2 cups diced celery
  • 1.5 cups chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup minced parsley
  • 2-1/4 tspns salt
  • 2 tspns poultry seasoning (Vegeta chicken stock powder)
  • 1/2 tspn pepper
  • 18 cups bread cubes (Irish Soda Bread recipe to follow)
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten

Grandma's Moist Bread Turkey Stuffing

Time: 20 minutes prep, 10 minutes cook
Servings: 8
 

Directions

  1. n an 8 quart dutch oven or saucepan add butter over medium heat
  2. Add celery and onion and cook for 10 minutes, stirring often
  3. Then add parsley, salt, seasoning and pepper
  4. Mix well
  5. Remove from heat and add bread and eggs
  6. Mix well
  7. Makes about 10 cups stuffing for a 12 to 14 pound bird

    This is a good recipe to follow. It's uncommon here to do this since we dont have turkey much, but i would like to give it a try. Maybe i could use a jumbo chicken :)
