Ingredients
- 1 c. dry lentils, rinsed
- 2 onions, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 quarts. water
- zest of 1 lemon
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer until the lentils are tender; about 1 hour
