Most people around the world who love eating Chinese food is accustomed to this humble vegetable that can be stir-fried or steamed and topped with oyster sauce and condiments. It is simple to make and goes well with steamed plain rice.

Ingredients

  • 2 bundles of Pak Choy
  • 3 cloves of garlic - slivered
  • Oyster Sauce - according to taste
  • Salt - to blanch
  • Oil
  • 1 red chilly (optional) - finely chopped
  • Fried onions as garnish (optional)

Directions

  1. Peel and wash the pak choy and blanch in hot salted water and set aside.
  2. In a hot wok, heat little oil and fry the garlic and chillies and add oyster sauce and some water.
  3. Let it boil and turn off gas and pour over the pak choy and garnish with fried onions.
  4. Serve hot with plain rice and enjoy!
