Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound butter
  • 1 lg. can fruit or possibly 2 med. cans fruit with juice
  • 3/4 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr

Directions

  1. Heat butter in bottom of baking dish. Mix lowfat milk, sugar, flour, and baking pwdr and pour over butter. Don't STIR.
  2. Pour fruit over batter. Don't stir. Sprinkle sugar over top. Bake 1 hour at 350 to 375 degrees. Fruit will sink and batter will rise. Add in a little cinnamon to peaches or possibly apples and almond flavoring to cherries. Use your imagination. Never fails.
