%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%E2%80%9CTo%20place%20yourself%20in%20a%20state%20of%20thankfulness,%20think%20of%20one%20hundred%20things%20to%20be%20thankful%20for%E2%80%9D.%20Seriously?%20%20Yes.%20%E2%80%9CEveryday%E2%80%9D.%20%20Impossible.%20%20Everday??%20Someone%20must%20be%20smokin%E2%80%99%20the%20good%20stuff%20have%20entirely%20TOO%20much%20free%20time,%20right?%20RIGHT?%20I%E2%80%99ll%20admit,%20this%20was%20my%20first%20reaction,%20and%20I%20know%20it%20wasn%E2%80%99t%20very%20positive.%20I%E2%80%99m%20really%20not%20usually%20a%20negative%20person-%20I%20guess.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%E2%80%99s%20just%20that%20I%20am%20a%20pessimist%20realist%20at%20heart.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20have%20a%20lot%20of%20%E2%80%9Cdrive-%20to-%20work-%20epiphanies%E2%80%9D%20(thank%20goodness%20for%20spell%20check%20on%20that%20one)%20as%20I%20like%20to%20call%20them.%20In%20my%206.4%20mile%20drive%20I%20often%20solve%20world%20crisis%20issues,%20or%20ponder%20the%20mysteries%20of%20the%20Universe.%20If%20Lil%E2%80%99%20Man%20is%20with%20me,%20we%20are%20knee%20deep%20in%20discussing%20life%20on%20other%20planets,%20and%20Black%20Holes%E2%80%A6%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EToday,%20I%20was%20alone.%20And%20thankful.%20For%20silence,%20and%20a%20few%20minutes%20to%20myself.%20That%20gave%20me%20time%20to%20think%20about%20what%20I%20read%20the%20other%20day.%20Ahhh,%20watch%20out%20for%20the%20rabbit%20holes,%20Alice.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20wondered%20in%20the%20short%20time%20remaining%20on%20my%20drive%20how%20many%20%E2%80%9CI%20am%20thankful%20for%E2%80%9D%20I%20could%20actually%20come%20up%20with,%20and%20how%20quickly.%20I%20think%20I%20came%20close%20to%20at%20least%20%C2%BD%20of%20the%20100%20in%20less%20than%204%20minutes-%20and%20although%20some%20of%20them%20wouldn%E2%80%99t%20make%20much%20sense%20to%20anyone%20but%20me,%20I%E2%80%99ll%20share%20my%20first%2010%20with%20you.%20(drum%20roll,%20please)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1.%20%20%20%20%20%20%20Today,%20I%20am%20thankful%20for%E2%80%A6my%20eyesight.%20If%20it%20has%20to%20be%20one%20or%20the%20other%20in%20regard%20to%20hearing%20or%20vision,%20I%E2%80%99ll%20let%20the%20hearing%20go%20to%20the%20Meniere%E2%80%99s%20disease,%20thank%20you.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20Today,%20I%20am%20thankful%20for%E2%80%A6air%20conditioning.%20ESPECIALLY%20the%20air%20conditioning%20at%20work,%20so%20graciously%20provided%20and%20paid%20for%20by%20my%20company,%20and%20not%20me.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3.%20%20%20%20%20%20%20Today,%20I%20am%20thankful%20for%E2%80%A6two%20feet%20that%20work%20(mostly)%20to%20get%20me%20around.%20J.C.%20doesn%E2%80%99t%20know%20it%20but%20I%20have%20been%20walking%20again%20for%20the%20past%20couple%20of%20days.%20He%20wanted%20me%20to%20wait%20three%20weeks%20until%20I%20went%20back%20to%20Dr.%20Val%20for%20my%20follow%20up,%20but%20I%20just%20can%E2%80%99t%20do%20it.%20%20Cat%E2%80%99s%20outta%20the%20bag%20now.%20Meow.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E4.%20%20%20%20%20%20%20Today,%20I%20am%20thankful%20for%E2%80%A6Tater,%20who%20very%20quietly%20consistently%20places%20himself%20by%20my%20feet%20or%20by%20my%20side,%20but%20always%20between%20me%20and%20any%20door%E2%80%A6and%20now%20I%20am%20not%20quite%20so%20worried%20about%20not%20being%20able%20to%20hear%20everything.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E5.%20%20%20%20%20%20%20Today,%20I%20am%20thankful%20for%E2%80%A6the%20ability%20to%20write%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E6.%20%20%20%20%20%20%20Today,%20I%20am%20thankful%20for%E2%80%A6my%20moments%20of%20sanity%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E7.%20%20%20%20%20%20%20Today,%20I%20am%20thankful%20for%E2%80%A6my%20moments%20of%20Insanity%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E8.%20%20%20%20%20%20%20Today,%20I%20am%20thankful%20for%E2%80%A6patience.%20Other%20people's.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E9.%20%20%20%20%20%20%20Today,%20I%20am%20thankful%20for%E2%80%A6the%20dogs%20that%20stand%20in%20the%20window%20of%20the%20office%20by%20the%20RR%20tracks%20wagging%20their%20tails%20at%20the%20cars%20and%20make%20me%20smile-%20EVERY%20day,%20Monday%20thru%20Friday.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E10.%20%20%20Today,%20I%20am%20thankful%20for%E2%80%A6being%20human%E2%80%A6and%20therefore%20imperfect.%20But%20not,%20really.%20Imperfect,%20that%20is.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20obvious%20%E2%80%9Cthankfuls%E2%80%9D%20aren%E2%80%99t%20even%20on%20here.%20I%20KNOW%20how%20lucky%20and%20blessed%20I%20am%20to%20be%20me.%20Duh.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20see%20it,%20Universe...I%20see%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20instead%20of%20stressing%20about%20what%20to%20feed%20all%20of%20us%20tonight,%20I%E2%80%99ll%20choose%20to%20be%20a%20living,%20breathing,%20affirmation%20of%20the%20creative%20force%20that%20dwells%20within%20me.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EA%20well%20stocked%20pantry%20doesn%E2%80%99t%20hurt%20either.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E(that%20was%20the%20realist%20in%20me%20chiming%20in)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%E2%80%9CGo%20get%20%E2%80%98em,%20Tiger%E2%80%9D%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E(that%20was%20the%20Universe%20chiming%20in)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBain%20sult%20as!%20(Enjoy!)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EListening%20to:%20Natalie%20Merchant%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThinking%20about:%20Going%20Home%20for%20a%20visit.%20Soon.%
