Directions

  1. Heat chocolate and shortening together. Remove from heat and add in sugar, Large eggs, and vanilla. Blend well. Add in flour, baking pwdr, salt, and mix well. Bake in greased 9 x 13 pan in 350 degree oven for approximately 25 min. Cold thoroughly. Frost with following Peppermint Frosting. 2 tbsp. cream or possibly lowfat milk 1/2 c. soft butter 3/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
  2. Mix till smooth. Chill; make following glaze. 2 tbsp. butter
  3. Heat together and spread gently over cool frosting. Cold well till glaze hardens. Cut into small bars or possibly squares.
