Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. Knorr Swiss onion soup
  • 1 pound onions, thinly sliced
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • Water as directions on soup package
  • 1/4 c. dry sherry

Victoria Station Onion Soup

Directions

  1. Saute/fry onions in butter. Don't brown. Add in soup, fold in water and sherry. Bring to boil. Simmer 20 min.
  2. Top with toasted bread and grated Jack cheese. Put under broiler till cheese melts and is slightly brown. This should be done in heat proof bowls.
