Ingredients

  • 6 c. water
  • 1/2 c. onion, minced
  • 1 c. red cabbage, shredded
  • 1/2 c. green pepper, diced
  • 1 c. beets, shredded
  • 1 c. carrots, shredded
  • 1 c. stewed tomatoes
  • 1 rib celery, sliced
  • 1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 c. kidney beans
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon dill weed
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice

Directions

  1. Saute/fry vegetables till tender. Add in beans, tomatoes, and seasonings. Simmer till done. Serve with a drop of lemonnaise on top.
