Ingredients
- 1-1/4 cup milk
- 6 Tbs butter or margarine, melted
- 1 egg
- 1-1/4 cups yellow cornmeal
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

Sweet Yellow Cornbread
Time: 10 minutes prep, 30 minutes cook
Servings: 12
Directions
- Heat oven to 350. Grease bottom and side of pan. I used an 8x8 inch pan.
- Mix milk, butter and egg in large bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients just until moistened (batter will be lumpy). Pour batter into pan.
- Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
