Spanish Meatball Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • 7 oz onions, chopped
  • 9 oz green pepper, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 cup parsley, chopped
  • pepper to taste
  • 9 oz dry red wine
  • 3 lbs canned tomatoes, diced
  • 3 lbs tomato puree
  • 4 Tbsp Italian seasoning

Spanish Meatball Sauce

Directions

  1. Cook onions and pepper in oil until tender.
  2. Add garlic and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Pour sauce over meatballs and cover pans with foil.
  5. Bake at 450 degrees for 1 hour, or until meatballs are no longer pink.
