Ingredients

  • 2 slices bacon
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth
  • 1 15 oz can drained and rinsed pinto beans
  • t Tbls cilantro

Directions

  1. Cook bacon and set aside reserving drippings
  2. and onion and garlic to drippings and cook 5 minutes until tender
  3. stir in chicken broth and pinto beans
  4. mash with a potato masher until desired consistency
  5. cook until heated stirring occassionaly
  6. sprinkle with bacon and fresh cilantro
