Ingredients

  • 1 (12 ounce) jar Ortega mild, medium or possibly warm thick and chunky salsa
  • 1 (16 ounce) pkg. pasteurized processed cheese, cut up
  • Assorted cut up vegetables or possibly tortilla chips

Directions

  1. In saucepan, over medium-low heat, heat salsa and cheese, stirring constantly till cheese melts and is well blended. Serve hot as a dip with vegetables or possibly chips. Cover and store any leftover dip in refrigerator, reheat over low heat to serve.Microwave: In 1 1/2 qt microwavable bowl, heat salsa and cheese at Medium (50% power) for 7 to 9 min till cheese melts and is well blended, stirring every minute. Stir well, serve as above. Reheat leftovers in microwave at high till heated through, stirring every minute.
